Some old series, some new...

Finished up Azumanga Daioh over the weekend. I wasn't sure if I wanted to love it with all the completely random comedy bits, or rip my hair out when it tried to be overly cutesy. Mr. Kimura was there fortunately to save the show in each scene he was in.

Started watching Full Metal Panic over the weekend which I'm sure I'll be guaranteed to like.

Watched the first 5 episodes of Naruto and strangely found myself not disliking it yet.

Now I need to decide on what to watch next after Azumanga: Last Exile, Tenjho Tenge, or these first few episodes of Densha Otoko.

It looks fun. I never heard of it until I read about the whole CMX debacle with the manga a few times. Figured I'd give it a try, and then got the original manga as well since the one common complaint I hear about in the series is that it ends in an awkward spot.

You know, one of these days myself and/or others are going to have to force you to sit down and finish all these things. Though I can only imagine what that list looks like. The ones that come to mind that I remember for sure were: FMA, Beck, add Tenjho Tenge. I'm sure there are others, but unless I had a vested interest in them, I probably wouldn't remember.

I do that with Kevin here each Saturday night or so, showing him many things I have in my library which he'd probably never get around to seeing or wouldn't know of otherwise. Not sure if I even know anybody in the Anime Society anymore. Most of who I knew even last year were all seniors.
