Yeah, well, to each their own I suppose. I'm under a lot less stress as a ref because I don't "have to" be there for much of anything. I just show up to practice, help them out and go back to my own thing, so it's a lot less burdensome than being on the team itself for sure. It also helps living right around the corner from the rink, so I'm not going out of my way for any of it either.
